Where There’s a Will There’s a Way To Lose Weight

So many people want to lose weight today – people seem to me more conscious than ever of their appearance. Losing weight is not easy, despite the claims of the diet product manufacturers. But it can be done, and having the right attitude goes a long way towards success.

Without a doubt, exercise is very important, and everyone should take part regularly in an activity like walking or jogging. But the bottom line is, losing weight will require us to reduce our intake of food. We may as well be resolved to this fact at the start.

Giving up, even temporarily, some of our favourite foods can be very challenging ” some would say traumatic! I believe it doesnt need to be a distressing thing, and attitude is all-important.

What I have found helpful is, to choose a month and make a decision that it will be a xxxxx-free month (replace xxxxx with the relevant food). What the relevant food is will vary for different people. For me, it is usually potatoes. And yes, that includes potato chips and French fries. I say to myself, as the first of the month approaches well, theres going to be no potatoes this month and by the first of the month, I am pretty much resigned to the fact and the potatoes are set aside for the month.

Sugar is always going to be a contributor to our overweight condition, and it’s in so many foods and soft drinks that it’s hard to avoid it. Our diet will be much more effective if we can exclude sugar also, and for each food item we consume, to be aware of the level of sugar it contains. But if it’s going to be too demanding, just concentrate on the main item.

When you get to month’s end, having successfully completed the diet, this will give you the confidence that you can indeed go without food. There is no reason why you cannot continue the plan for another month, or a year. You can tackle other foods that have been a problem for you, and gradually take control of your eating habits. The good thing about this plan is, it’s a reasonably short time frame. Most of us can set aside anything for the space of a month. It’s long enough to give us confidence that we can overcome, and not so long that it is daunting. I like the fact that I can look forward to month’s end, when I tell myself that I can enjoy that food once again.

And of course I can choose to continue the plan past the end of the month, but the important thing is, my immediate plans are just until the month is over. If I want to continue, it’s a lot easier than starting from scratch, my confidence is high and I am acccustomed to the routine.

I’m not saying that exercise is bad for you, or that it has no value. I mean, exercise is great for getting sexy arms. However, there are other ways for getting rid of arm flab.

The secret method here is spontaneous fat loss. This method of losing fat is the easiest thing on the planet. Why? Because you unknowingly eat less when you’re on it.

And without further delay, here are 4 tips for entering the spontaneous fat loss zone so that you can tone flabby arms:

1. Keep bad food in areas that are not easily accessible. One study showed that people eat 300% more candy when it’s within arms’ reach. So make sure to keep all calorie-heavy food far far away no matter what. Conversely, keep the good food very very close. What type of results would you get if you ate 300% more good food?

2. Use smaller eating devices. A really cool study showed that people unconsciously eat 50% more ice cream when using jumbo spoons and bowls. This happened because the scoops of ice cream looked much much smaller next to the large eating devices.

3. Use thin glasses. When using short wide glasses people poor up to 30% more without realizing it. So if you have to have some soda or other calorie-laden drink, make sure to use a tall and thin glass. However, if you are going to drink water or some other healthy liquid, use a short wide glass.

4. Use the same plate over and over again at the buffet. Why should you do this? Because as your plates are cleared away at the buffet, you lose your visual cue for how much you have already eaten. Studies have shown that people will eat 25% more because of this effect.

Spontaneous fat loss is the key to sexy arm stardom with minimal effort. Learning how to tone flabby arms doesn’t have to be a long and drawn out battle. At times, the easiest approach is the best approach.

The realistic goal would be to lose 15 pounds in a month, because it can be achieved more realistic. But it can be dangerous if it is not done correctly.

The best way to lose 15 pounds fast is by eating foods such as meat that use more of your energy to digest it. You could eat nothing but meat, but that wouldn’t be healthy either. Your body needs a well-rounded diet that provides all the required nutrients. You can eat a well-balanced diet and still lose weight if you know which foods to choose.

Before starting your weight loss plan, take measurements of your body including your weight and fat content. The hip new diet on the market is the pH Miracle diet. Health experts have seen that new diets tend to rise and fall in popularity. For instance, the diets of the 1990′s fixated on low-fat and the diets after the turn of the century were all fixated on low-carbohydrates. The Atkins diet, South Beach diet, Protein Power and Sugarbusters all revolved around low-carbohydrates. When a diet stops working, or the results someone wants are not achieved, they will usually turn to another diet. The pH Miracle Diet offers a new approach to dieting.

The pH Miracle Diet offers relief from the low-carbohydrate, high-protein diets of the past few years. The diet approaches nutrition from a new way and was created by Robert Young. The diet is also known as the Young Diet or the Alkaline Diet. The new approach is looking at what the human body needs and balancing those needs. Nutritionists and Holisitic doctors agree with this approach.

A slight alkaline quality exhibits in the human body’s pH. Since our body functions this pH level, in theory, the foods we eat should also be alkaline. The foods we currently eat, such as sugar, animal protein, caffience and processed foods, are all acidic foods. These acidic foods unbalance the pH in our bodies and contribute to other health problems. Supporters of the pH Miracle diet will tell you that how our body deals with alkaline minerals is affected by the acidic foods we eat. These minerals are sodium, potasssium, magnesium and calcium to name a few, and can all play a role in chronic diseases.

The pH Miracle Diet gives great credence to this. It is no secret to nutritionists and health proponents, that we are what we eat and what we eat affects how we feel and how healthy we are. As an industry, most doctors advise a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy products; however, the pH Miracle diet takes this to another level. It shows that by eating acidic foods, your body loses minerals it needs to function. By eating the pH Miracle Diet way, a person is forgoing the foods that can harm their body.

Many commons foods are prohibited on the pH Miracle Diet. One such common food is wheat and wheat products. You may find this contradictory as the FDA recommends whole wheat products. But grains including wheat, oats, millet and rice are acidic and according to the pH Miracle diet are harmful to our bodies. There are alkaline grains and these include buckwheat, quinoa and spelt. These are good for our body.

The pH Miracle Diet also restricts all meats and dairy products. The exception is goat milk due to it’s slight alkaline quality. You can load up on protein in the form of beans, nuts, tofu and seeds. Alkaline foods include most vegetables except for mushrooms. Fruits that are allowed are grapefruit, coconut, lemon and lime.

Within the first few weeks of going on the pH Miracle Diet you will see positive effects on your health, according to people who have tried it. Reducing processed foods and adding vegetables to your diet is good for your health, whether you adhere to this diet or not. The pH Miracle Diet’s detractors that this is the problem with the diet. If you are already eating a fresh and balanced diet and ingesting enough water, following the diet won’t make a difference. But this theory does not account for the acid and alkaline in our bodies.

There has not been scientific tests or published results yet on the principles behding the pH Miracle Diet. The conventional medical industry does not give much credence to the diet either. The science behind the diet relies on Chinese and holisitic medicine that have been practiced for several hundred years. Johns Hopkins University and Dr. Neil Solomon with the United Nations are both conducting research studies on the these principles. What their findings reveal may proof the critics of the pH Miracle Diet wrong.

It increases their efficiency as well.Your abdominal pelvic cavity contains the liver, gall bladder, stomach intestines, pancreas, spleen, bladder and kidneys. Strong abdominal muscles support the membranes that keep these organs in place and enable them to function properly.

By giving proper support to the lower spine, firm abdominal muscles help avoid or eliminate lowest back pain. They can help prevent or clear up some of the complications of constipation.

A firm and flat stomach is built by starting with doing some abdomen strengthening exercises on a daily basis.. In addition to your existing diets and exercise schedule, add these exercises.

You will notice improved abdominal strength in a few weeks, but visible improvement may be seen for a month or more. You must keep at it.

Review of Colon Cleansers – Colon Cleanse Pro

Being heavily marketing on the internet, Colon Cleanse Pro has become quite popular, or at least more noticeable lately. Is Colon Cleanse Pro all that they are trying to make you think it is? This shorter version of my more complete review of Colon Cleanse Pro will help you to see what Colon Cleanse Pro really has to offer, which isn’t much.

Aside from the ‘Free’ trial offer (I’ll get to that later) the first thing that you’ll notice are supposed endorsements from the Oprah magazine, USA Today, MSNBC, and CBS News. You’ll notice, however that none of the quotes mention anything at all about Colon Cleanse Pro, but rather are about colon cleansing (in one form or another). This is a classic marketing tactic trying to get you to think that the product itself has been endorsed by these credible sources. To the quick browser, it may work. But if you pay any attention, you’ll find that they in no way talk about Colon Cleanse Pro itself.

Another red flag is that they don’t state anywhere on the site what any of the ingredients are that make up Colon Cleanse Pro. This is certainly a cause for concern since there’s no way to verify or judge if the product will work as advertised. I can obviously assume that there is fiber of some sort in there since most colon cleansers do, but I can’t go any further than that.

As if the review so far wasn’t bad enough, it’s about to get even uglier. When I looked into the company itself, I saw even more causes for concern. The first thing I notices was that their ‘privacy policy’ stated that they may sell the personal information that you give them to any third party. In short, your information is not safe with these guys.

The Better Business Bureau didn’t make me feel any better about the company either. Not surprisingly, Colon Cleanse Pro received an ‘F’ grade by the BBB. In fact, in late 2008, the BBB invited Colon Cleanse Pro to meet with them to discuss how they could correct the problems causing the complaints. The BBB reports that they have not responded to their request.

The first thing that you’ll notice when you visit the Colon Cleanse Pro website is that big free trial that they offer. And while there may be some legitimate free trial offers out there, most of the ones that I’ve seen have been a way to lure people into a scam. In Colon Cleanse Pro’s case? Smells like a scam to me. If you read in the fine print in the terms and conditions, you’ll see that by getting a free trial, you also agree to enroll in their autoship program. This basically means that if you don’t cancel within 15 days fo your order you will charged $69.98 and they will start shipping you new product every month and charging you the $69.98. I’ve read many complaints that it has been very hard for people to actually cancel this program and before they know it, they’ve been charged quite large amounts. Do yourself a favor, and make sure that you read all the fine print so that you know what you’re getting yourself into.

There are many complaints filed on the internet of people not being able to get a hold of the company to cancel or to dispute the charges (that they didn’t know would occur). Well, in order to see for myself, I called the customer service number. Surprise! No one answered the phone. So it appears that some of the complaints are true; it may be difficult to cancel your autoship program. Also, they charge a 15% restocking fee on all returned items.

In summary, I think it’s safe to say that you should stay far, far away from Colon Cleanse Pro. They’ve had many, many complaints filed against them and are seemingly uninterested in trying to improve their business practices. They use shady sales tactics that are designed to take advantage of the unsuspecting customer. Colon Cleanse Pro looks like a scam to me.
